Every Friday the kids get a chance to create independent projects where they have to practice collaborating and coming up with ideas of their own to work on. The room is divided into stations and a new station is added each week. This allows the kids to learn how to use and clean up after a variety of supplies. Independent Fridays are a great way for kids to discover their own creative agency! Take a look at some of our newest creations! Students have made everything from clay neighborhoods to mech suits to musical instruments, abstract architecture and everything in between! We've got so many fun projects planned this year! In every class we will be exploring art from around the world, learning about history and different cultures and experimenting with paint, color, clay, computer art, sculpture and collage!
