GOOGLE EARTH
Ask your parents if you can download the google Earth program. It lets you travel around the world and actually walk down the streets of Paris, visit the great wall of China and even look at your own neighborhood! Just type in the address and you're off! Explore Ancient Egypt Use this PBS website to walk around the pyramids, the sphinx and even enter the tombs of the pharaohs. Edit Photos on PIXLR
PIXLR is a photo-editing site very similar to photoshop, but its free. You can still save your images and have fun with trying different filters and effects. Sumo Paint Sumo Paint is a cool website you can paint on. It has some really fun effects the kids will love. Now you can paint for hours without the mess! Build your wild self! This site is super fun for younger kids. You can create your own avatar from the body parts of humans and animals. Use this page to talk to your kids about texture. Splatter like Jackson Pollock This site turns your mouse into a paint brush and lets you spill, splatter and drip paint just like Jackson Pollock. A great website for experimenting with paint. Paint like Picasso This site is great fro learning about Picasso and cubism. Create your own masterpiece!
